Art Nouveau Suffragette Amethyst and Peridot Pendant

A lovely Art Nouveau pendant in 9ct gold, set in the Suffragette colours, with 3 round peridot in a delicate floral setting. The pendant also features a beautiful oval amethyst drop.

These pieces date from the turn of the 20th century when Emmeline Pankhurst founded the movement in 1903. The stones were picked to represent their colours of purple, white and green, purple meaning freedom and dignity, white represented purity and green meant hope.
