An early 20th century 18ct gold and platinum ring, in fine vintage condition, set with three old cut/European cut, sparkling diamonds, featuring a larger central diamond with a smaller diamonds on either side and fine scrolling detail. Estimated total weight is .2 ct. A delicate little Victorian dazzler.

Commonly called old cut, European cut or mine cut, these diamonds were cut by craftsmen, with artisans working for hours polishing the diamond by hand and by candlelight to give it the desired lustre.
